Two characters and bodies that embodied our journey along the route, and that continued the fading oral traditions and memories of the culture along the "great highway through the sky".

An immortal horseman near Litang, who carried ancient skills and reverence for horses and movement. The young hostess (nemo in Tibetan) offered up churned butter tea, shelter, and wishes for a safe journey, all from her nomadic home at over 4000 metres in the sky.

Remains of customs and fading ways.
